What inspired you to travel to this particular destination?

I have always wanted to visit Namibia and was very fortunate to be offered a travel agents' educational tour.  I travelled with 3 agents from the US, 2 from Australia and our South African hostess and we were lucky enough to be there for 11 days.

United Airlines to fly Auckland to San Francisco in 2016

Boeing 787 services to launch on new Pacific route from July 2016.

United Airlines has just confirmed the introduction of non-stop flights between Auckland and San Francisco International Airport, effective from 03 July 2016.

Initially operating three times weekly using 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, the service will expand to a daily 787-9 operation from 30 October 2016.

Aussie departure cards to be axed in 2016

Australian Federation of Travel Agents chief Jason Westbury confirmed that Australian Departure Cards would be made redundant in 2016!

“It’s going, isn’t that exciting?” Westbury told members of the Helloworld summit in Wellington

Changes to Canada’s entry requirements

The Government of Canada has introduced a new entry requirement, known as an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), for certain international travellers when they fly to Canada.

Under eTA, citizens from countries other than the United States (U.S.) who do not need a visa to enter Canada will need to obtain an online authorization before flying to Canada.

From August 1, 2015, eligible travellers can apply online for an eTA.
