It will be the second longest route of 13,834km which will take approximately 17 hours and 30 minutes.

“This new route will serve more than 70 cities across North America making one-stop service to Sydney faster and more convenient than ever before,” said Scott Kirby, president of United Airlines. Houston is also United’s gateway to Latin America, providing a very advantageous options of flying into a variety of cities across South America.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet is set to be the operating flight of choice which offers 252 seats, 141 of which are Economy, 63 are Economy Plus and the remaining 48 offer passengers a flat-bed option in Polaris business class.

America is an extremely popular choice amongst Australians, so this option will no doubt be a well-received and utilised route.
